My AHA Moment as a Product Owner Launching a Plugin with TikTok Ads
When I was working as a Product Owner, I found myself at the heart of a project that felt both thrilling and terrifying.
We had spent months pouring our energy into creating something we genuinely believed could make a difference: a unique WordPress plugin for marketers, packed with features like A/B testing for sales pages, in-depth analytics, and tools to fine-tune campaigns in real time.
From the start, it felt like standing on the edge of something big, but also risky. Would anyone actually care?
Or were we building just another plugin in a sea of plugins?
To keep ourselves grounded, we focused on building an MVP first. As the days turned into late nights and endless iterations, I kept reminding myself: the real test would come after, when we finally showed it to the world.
And then the next challenge loomed, bigger than I expected: How do we get this in front of the right people? Marketers are busy, flooded with offers, skeptical of new tools. I was restless, thinking about ways to break through the noise.
Then, almost instinctively, I turned my attention to TikTok ads. I’ll be honest: at first, I was hesitant. TikTok? Really? Isn’t that just dances and memes?
But I decided to trust my gut. I dove into the platform, exploring every feature, every creative option. And that’s when it happened, this surge of excitement I still remember vividly.
I realized TikTok wasn’t just another advertising platform. It was alive. Its interface and tools made it feel like you could actually talk to people, spark real interest, and see what truly resonated. It was like discovering a hidden lever in marketing that no one had quite pulled yet.
It was my “AHA moment.” A moment that replaced all the doubt with pure adrenaline.
When the campaigns went live, I felt like I was holding my breath, waiting to see what would happen. And then, the results started coming in.
Not only were marketers interested, they were excited. They asked questions, wanted early access, and told us they couldn’t wait to use the plugin. It felt like watching an idea transform into something real, something people genuinely wanted.
That feeling, of turning uncertainty into validation, and skepticism into excitement, is hard to describe, but it changed how I see product launches forever.
And that’s why I decided to take everything I learned, the strategy, the mistakes, the surprises, and pack it into this course. Because I believe you should have the chance to feel that same spark of discovery and watch your own products come to life in the eyes of real users.
